About Ann Brauer

When I was born, my grandmother made me a postage stamp quilt of feed sack cloth that I slept under for years always finding some new leaf or flower she had added. This began my love of playing with fabric and design. For the past 44 years i have supported myself making original art quilts that carry this love forward.

My work is in the Museum of Art + Design in NYC, the Lodge at Turning Stone in Verona, NY, the Federal District Court House in Springfield, MA, the Intercontinental Hotel in Boston, the UMass Medical Center and many other public and private locations.

Although I have received an Award of Excellence from the American Craft Council Baltimore Show, the Collector's Choice Award from Paradise City, Finalist for the NEA Grant, my most important recognition is the support of many clients and supporters.

See me at: American Made in Baltimore  Feb.20-22
Paradise City Arts Festival Marlborough  Mar 20-22
Paradise City Arts Festival Northampton May 23-25
Quilt Visions, ArtComplex, Duxbury, MA.  Aug-Nov.
